1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using App Z ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including facility administrators and staff.
2. Description of Service
App Z is a compliance management platform designed to assist Minnesota licensed assisted living facilities (MN Statute 144G) in organizing emergency preparedness documentation, training records, drill logs, and compliance checklists. The Service includes AI-assisted document drafting tools.
3. Important Disclaimer — AI-Generated Content

App Z uses artificial intelligence to assist in drafting emergency preparedness documents. All AI-generated content must be reviewed, customized, and approved by a Licensed Assisted Living Director (LALD) or qualified administrator before use in any official, regulatory, or operational context. App Z does not warrant that AI-generated content meets all requirements of MN Statute 144G, CMS Appendix Z, or any other applicable regulation. The facility administrator bears full responsibility for the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance of all plans and documents used at their facility.
4. No Guarantee of Compliance
Use of App Z does not guarantee that your facility will pass any regulatory inspection or survey. App Z is a documentation and organizational tool only. Regulatory compliance is the sole responsibility of the facility and its licensed administrator. App Z makes no representation that any checklist, document template, or AI-generated content satisfies current regulatory requirements, which may change.
5. Subscription and Billing
App Z is offered on a monthly subscription basis. Subscriptions auto-renew each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your Account page. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
6. User Responsibilities
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- You must not share your account with unauthorized users
- You are responsible for the accuracy of all data entered into the platform
- You must comply with all applicable laws, including HIPAA, when entering resident information
- You must not use the Service for any unlawful purpose
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, App Z and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including regulatory citations, fines, or survey deficiencies. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
8. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon termination, your access to the Service will cease. You may export your data prior to termination.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles.
